The Ronettes – Be My Baby

My sister and I grew up watching my dad’s different VHS’ tapes, that all documented different aspects of rock n’ roll. Elvis documentaries, the Billboard 100 videos in the 80s, Fleetwood Mac performing at the Grammy’s, etc etc, BUT NAMELY one particular VHS, that was all about the Girl Groups of the 50s and 60s. We wore that thing ragged – just ask me about the history of female doo-wop and you might be surprised.

This particular clip was our favorite and I’ve probably seen it no less than at least 1,000 times. We used to even fight over who was a better Ronnie Spector impersonator – I still maintain I was :).
